Schedule 1 PRICE LIST as at 1st November 2025 

Our fees are fixed, and include our initial meeting when we take instructions, drafting any documents  and sending for approval together with appropriate advice, making any amendments before the final  versions are produced, and attending you to oversee the signing of documents. 

As we now have a few consultants our pricing structure is changing to reflect the knowledge and  experience of team members. Please note that all documents are checked by our founder, Sara  Sheppard before being sent out to you.

Other disbursements 

Land Registry title check – we carry out these to confirm  how house is owned. We will not charge this for the  main residence but if you own multiple properties, we  will re-charge the Land Registry fee of £7 per property  (no VAT)

Amendments to Wills 

It may not be necessary to update your Wills, if the people named change their name or address – however, please do tell us if this is the case so we can keep details of the up-to-date information with  your Wills. 

For clients who have previously had Wills made by us, we may be able to amend your Will as follows: 

If the change is one clause only (not residue clause), such  as changing the Executors

£50 plus VAT  (£60)

£75 plus VAT (£90)

If the change is more than one clause or involves a  change to residue, unless it involves adding a trust

50% of the cost  of a new Will

50% of the cost of a  new Will



Adding a trust into your Wills, will be a brand-new Will and will be chargeable at the current rates at  the prevailing time. 

For those who have a made a Will with another company, we cannot amend these and therefore it  will always be a new Will. 

NOTE: There will be a deposit payable of £200 plus VAT (£240) either when booking or on the day of  our appointment. This will be offset against the final cost if you proceed with instructing us to prepare  documents for us with the balance due within 7 days of our invoice. If you decide not to proceed, this  will cover our time and our advice during your meeting with us after which there will be no further  charge. 

This will not be charged if you cancel at least 24 hours before our booked appointment. Please read  our Client Care Letter and Terms of Business about how this can be paid.
